CHSOS has been invited to the EHRI international workshop on Revising the Scope and Means of Physical and Digital Preservation of Holocaust Documentation, hold at Yad Vashem, Jerusalem, Sept 8-10, 2014. This International Workshop was organized within the Framework of the European Holocaust Research Infrastructure (EHRI), supported by the European Commission.
The workshop was about digital preservation which means documenting and preserving what we can already see with our eyes in documents, photos and films. A scientist would say this information lies in the visible range of the electromagnetic spectrum. My talk was about the hidden information that can be found in the ultraviolet and infrared regions of the spectrum. It was introduced also the CHSOS mission to promote and disseminate innovative, affordable and sustainable technologies for art and documents examination. The PixelTeq multispectral camera using 12 interferential filters was introduced with some case studies.
