Just delivered a 3-days Training program in TAIWAN for the Tainan Art Museum.
This program included installation of the Technical Photography kit and of Antonello, the multispectral Imaging System.
This training program was kindly organized by our awesome representative in Taiwan, Dean Tech Group.
We delivered training and equipment for Technical Photography and Multispectral Imaging to the Tainan Art Museum.
From Taipei airport, we drove 3 hours to Tainan, the oldest city on the island of Taiwan known as the “Capital City” for its over 200 years of history as the capital of Taiwan under Koxinga and Qing dynasty rule. Tainan’s complex history of comebacks and renewals inspired its nickname “the Phoenix City”.
Tainan was initially established by the Dutch East India Company, and houses the first Confucian school–temple in Taiwan, and plenty of other historical monuments, such as Buddhist and Taoist temples
1st day
We started off in the gallery mounting and testing the equipment on one of their most relevant painting from a Taiwanese artist, dated 1941.
We had documentation of the previous conservation treatment on the painting, which we were able to retrieve with Technical Photography.
2nd day
The second day was dedicated, as usual, for practicing Technical Photography.
3rd day
Practicing again on Technical photography and introducing multispectral imaging with Antonello.
Just discovered Taiwan has an outstanding street food.
