Multispectral Imaging with Fujifilm S5 pro

I had a Fujifilm S5 Pro that I used for multispectral imaging back in Brooklyn. This camera was manufactured specifically for UV-IR forensic photography. I sold it to switch to a Nikon D800. The camera was great, I sold it just because I needed a higher pixel count (I went from 12MP to 36MP) and there were some issues with the a bit unstable tethering software. I made an educational video with that camera while I was teaching in Brooklyn to promote my course among students. I thought some of my blog readers could find it funny to watch. Enjoy.

The two “Renaissancish” mock-up paintings have an underdrawing made with carbon black and some pentimenti to have some fun in class.

Preparation of a mock-up painting with carbon black underdrawing rich in pentimenti. Compare it with the infrared imaging in the video above. Mock-up painting with carbon black underdrawing rich in pentimenti. Compare it with the infrared imaging in the video above.

The little sketch on paper, at the video beginning,  is a portrait of me made by my friend Berhanu, at the Bergen Museum of Art, Norway.
